Becoming

"We become what we want to be by consistently being what we want to become each day." -Richard G. Scott

I believe this pertains to more than becoming a writer. It pertains to every day life. Do you agree? And more importantly,

What do you want to become?

Fake it till you make it, as my good friend said yesterday.

Love this! Hmmm....I'd like to be content. Instead of focused on the big things, it would be nice to notice the little things more often.

Jamie, I know what you mean. The little things are the most important in the long run. Don't lose yourself in the big!

I want to become someone who is always thought of fondly, and stands out in a crowd without waving my arms. :)

I love this quote. It reminds me of "As a man thinketh, so is he."

Great quote. Too true.

DL, you do stand out, at least in the blogging world. You're on the right track!

Shari, you are so right! Thanks for your insight!

This is so true. The only way to become anything is by daily work and practice.

love the quote - that's getting printed and stuck by my monitor. Thanks.

This reminds me of Richard Scarry's 'The Bunny Book', where all the little bunny wants to be when he grows up is a daddy rabbit. It's a beautiful story, and I can relate.

LOVE that quote - it's going up on my class wall tomorrow!

I want to become better. And yes, I'm thinking of more than just writing :)

I want to become a real writer in my own mind. I never really believe myself.
