This most certainly grabbed my imagination:

Oh noooooooo.... So sorry about that!!! I wondered if you were able to get much done - that has happened to me too, though luckily not for a few years.

I do need to back up - I have almost 60000 words and it's just sitting here on my computer-though I save it constantly throughout the day, I can't imagine what would happen if the comp had a problem!

Hope everything worked out and your fingers are off and running/typing again! (Oh, and thank you - I FINALLY figured out what "WIP" stands for as I read that blog... It has been driving me crazy but I was too embarrassed to ask anyone! hee hee!)

I hope it all works out for you! Losing so much hard work is scary stuff!

Wow! What an awesome sand castle. But I'm so sorry about your laptop...ugh. You know, I've heard of this happening but have yet to experience it. So thank you for sharing! Since reading this, I've back up the new WIP to the flashdrive. I have been out of the habit!

Luckily the time capsule doubles as a wireless internet thingie and an automatic backuper on-line. *now I feel so ungrammatical*

Thanks for your support. It truly means so much.

I guess the hard drive is kaput. Tomorrow I'll know if they salvaged any data.

Wish me luck!

Yikes! You poor thing.

As for the sand castle and serpent--now there is an opening line (in picture form) for a book!
