The Final Twilight Movie. Thoughts?

Warning! Spoilers.

All right, I will admit I was not a big fan of the final Twilight book--Breaking Dawn. Here's my biggest complaint:

They had all the evil vampires gathered together in one place, Alice foresaw the future, and guess what? IF THE GOOD VAMPIRES AND WOLVES FOUGHT AGAINST THE BAD VAMPIRES, THE GOOD VAMPS WOULD HAVE ...
WON!!!

Instead, all the vampires stand on a snowy field and talk out their problems, and everyone goes home.

The end.

Well, I was thinking (hoping) the movie people would have actually let the bad guys have justice dealt to them. WRONG! The good and bad vampires talk, and then the evil, murdering, controlling, cruel vampires walk away.

The End.

So, do you agree that this is possibly the least satisfying ending to a book/movie series, or am I alone here?

I actually liked it better than the book just because they actually FOUGHT. Okay, it was all in Alice's head, but still, we got to see some action without it really straying from what happened in the book.

I do agree, however, that it would have been nice to see the bad vamps get some badly need justice dealt to them :)But for what it was, I enjoyed it :)

Agreed! The movie was action packed, which was better. But when the theater realized it was all fake, there was this huge, collective groan. :)

I definitely liked the battle in the movie more than nothing happening like the book, even if it was just in Alice's mind. Maybe I need to watch it again to know how I really feel though, because I was satisfied, but maybe it was just the shock of Carlisle's head being ripped off.

In the theater where I saw it, there was actually applause when you realized it was a twist and all one of Alice's visions. I thought the screenwriter nailed it where the book dropped the ball.

I'm a sucker for happy endings, though. There's no way I could have walked out of that theater feeling satisfied with half the Cullen clan decimated. :(
