When You're Weary...

Ever feel like this?

If you're a writer - heck, if you're human - chances are you've felt blue at one time or another. Today on the QueryTracker blog, writers are coming together in a show of support, offering advice of who to turn to (or what to eat!)

I hope it will inspire you - and be sure to check out tip #3 - because that one's about you!

You can find the QTblog post here.

That was me this morning. And last night. And the day before. I think I might be overworked. :)

Heading to QueryTracker now!

I've been lingering in Depressionland for about three weeks, yup. Very unmotivated.

Loved all the suggestions at the end you compiled!

That's looks to be about the saddest a person can get. We all get there sometimes, don't we. Great link. :)

I'll check it out - I tend to be a basically happy person, but we all have those times!

That's how I've been feeling the last two days at work. Not even much time to write. Thanks for the great QT blog post. I can definitely relate to those 'I want to give up' moments.

don't feel like that too often, thankfully. I did like your QT list. I especially agree about #3!

My goal is to do something that involves my writing every day, whether it is writing, querying, researching or reading...

I feel like that every day.

Question: Why during my entire life have I awakened more tired than when I went to sleep? I would like to go to sleep at night feeling like I do in the morning and wake up feeling like I do at bedtime.

It's that time of year, I think. Everyone is tired.

But things will pick back up.

Any second now!

I loved that article--I read it and adored it. I didn't comment because I wanted to not be misunderstood, but sometimes I think it's good TO quit. You know, give yourself space away from writing and the writing world. If you have a true writer's heart, you'll come back. We always do, however long it takes us. And we'll be that much more focused when we're back. I know it's worked that way for me.

Thanks, Suzette!

I've been like this for a couple months now, but you are definitely right about tip #3.

It's been motivating me more than I ever could have imagined :)

I seriously think I would've been like that pic this past month, if it hasn't been for the encouragement from my blogging friends. :)
